Fixer
A fixer is someone who helps you plan, arrange, and problem solve on a TV or Film set. Fixers will give you access to local connections and information that take years, even decades to build. A local fixer will make your next production run smoother, save time, money, and headaches.
A fixer can help you organise locally based:
- Locations
- Venues
- Cast
- Crew
- Equipment
- Accommodation
- Council contacts
- Screen services
- Transport
Local fixers will know about locations and services you can’t find on Google, have strong community connections, and trusted networks and relationships.
Script Supervisor and Continuity
A script supervisor works closely with the director, and production departments to ensure continuity.
Productions are often shot out of sequence, so a script supervisor is essential to make sure all the big and small details are the same from scene to scene. For example, the actor’s hair was parted on the left, not right, or their glass was half-full not empty. Script supervisors are essential for continuity.
